“I have been an employee of United Airlines (formerly Continental Airlines) for 39 years. I started my career in 1974. In my early years at the airport, I was exposed to loud noise, specifically from jet engines, but also from various ground support equipment that had loud, turbine engines. Over a period of time as a result of the noise exposure, I experienced nerve damage that greatly deteriorated my ability to hear well. Last year I made an appointment with Dr. Duthu. She readily identified the specific problem I had and recommended a state of the art set of hearings aids. I had worn hearing aids before, but never the type (Siemens) Dr. Duthu had ordered for me. While my hearing will never be 100%, it is nonetheless greatly improved. The aids that I received from Dr. Duthu are very comfortable. The best thing I appreciate about NOLA Hearing is the follow-up. I have made several follow-up appointments, and each and every time I have been accommodated immediately. I have never had a problem scheduling a follow-up visit.
